The “Feast of Feasts” is almost upon us; The Glorious Day of the Resurrection once again comes to raise us up out of the darkness, to enter into the
light of Christ’s radiant presence, and to fill us with the spiritual joy of
Christ’s triumph over sin and death.
The Easter season is a time of reflection on the Lord’s abundant goodness
to us. As People of God, we can unite ourselves more closely with the Lord
by contemplating the mystery of his Passion and Resurrection and thus
open ourselves up to our brothers and sisters, coming out of the lockdown
of our “I”, and going towards the “you” of God and of each other.
We know that we are living in a difficult time because of the pandemic that
still affects, if not disrupts, the lives of so many brothers and sisters
throughout the world. We pray for you all that this time, even in fatigue and
tribulation, may be the desert where the Lord manifests himself, the place
where the Word loves to meet us.
Why do you seek among the dead the one who is alive?
He is not here, he has risen. (Lk 24:5-6)
By the merits of Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection, may you be
filled with all the joy of the Spirit in this holy season and live in the assurance of his boundless love for you.
Christ is risen. He is truly risen. Alleluia!
